We were happy since the day we arrived! It's easy to establish many friends immediately. The New Villagers' program in particular helps to familiarize you with the area and facilitates you meeting other new residents in the community through many organized activities in and around the area - always a number of things to appeal to everyone!

We are in a perfect location, surrounded by lakes, mountains and close to the great smoky mountain national park. The climate is mild with many sunny days. Our three championship golf courses are in great condition. Our community spirit and caring for one another could not be better. There is something for everyone here! Our POA dues are very reasonable and there are no other required fees. We looked far and wide before settling on Tellico Village for our home--we believe that we found the best retirement living in the country!

As I drive up 321 and view the mountains, I am thankful we live in such a scenic and beautiful community with so much to offer. The new friends we've made and the social amenities available far outweigh any area we investigated before we decided to retire to Tellico Village, TN.

There is a strong commitment by the administration of the community to: solicit owner input; conduct continuous assessment of key operations and amenities; and to look for opportunities for continuous improvement. Importantly, these activities are managed through a rigorous budget process. Consequently, there are generally no problems and needs are well met.

Everyone is enthusiastic about something (actually several things, that vary widely among individuals). So much give-back to the community, and so much to do). Fun in the sun and the great outdoors offset by great facilities run by the POA. We built on the water in 1991; been happy ever since; and things just keep getting better. Commitment and success just keep building over the years. It is a pleasure working with the folks who live here; and we spend a lot of time doing for others even though we are supposed to be retired. And we know how to play! Come visit and see for yourself.

This is a wonderful community and we couldn't be happier. Tellico Village is located in a beautiful spot in East Tennessee, is convenient to all the places we want to go, and the people who live here are caring, vibrant and fun. No matter what your interest, you will likely find a group of like-minded people to share it. Retirement is all we hoped for and more. After eight years here we still love it and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
