There’s nowhere better to own a Florida vacation home than at one of the premier vacation resorts on the Palm Coast beaches. Hammock Beach Resort is nestled 30 miles between two exciting cities, St. Augustine and Daytona Beach. Many families who visit the luxury Florida beach resorts often decide to purchase a vacation home at the resort for it’s amenities and benefits. Palm Coast is one of the top Florida retirement cities because of the affordability.

The Hammock Beach Resort has a myriad of activities to captivate every family member. We observed kids and adults enjoying the fun and excitement of the Fantasy Pool Complex with it’s twisting water slide, flume, and lazy river. Parents were scheduling spa treatments, taking classes at the fitness center, or playing on one of the two award winning golf courses: The Conservatory, known for undulating greens uncommon in Florida, designed by Tom Watson or The Ocean course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, with six holes overlooking the ultimate water hazard - the picturesque Palm Coast FL beaches.

As you might expect from luxury Florida beach resorts, aquatics and the Atlantic Ocean provide the core activities with seven swimming pools one of which is an architecturally impressive indoor pool.  Overlooking the hard, sandy beach, we found beach volleyball courts being enjoyed.  Ownership at Hammock Beach Resort is as much about pleasing the kids as the parents. The Kids Crew provides supervised activities for children ages 4-12 including beach games. There are eight lighted Hydro-Grid clay tennis courts available for beginners and experts alike.  The courts are located at Yacht Harbor Village, adjacent to the marina.  The marina has 209 boat slips for boats from 30’ to over 100’ in length available for lease. Inlets to the ocean lie about 30 minutes north and south of the resort and Palm Coast beaches.

Hammock Beach has six restaurants ranging from elegant, oceanfront dining to burgers poolside along with an ocean bar, cigar bar, coffee bar, and sushi bar. There are two types of club membership: Regular membership linked to property ownership and Recallable memberships. Recallable memberships have non-refundable deposits where regular memberships are non-equity with refundable initiation fees. There are two levels of club membership: 

  • Beach Club Membership
  • Full Golf Membership

Members receive discounts on spa services, retail purchases, food and beverages. Homes available at Hammock Beach Resort include two or three bedroom villas adjacent to the main resort or one to four bedroom suites in the eleven story high-rise towers. All units in the high-rise towers have views of the ocean and the Ocean Course. The suites range from 750 to 3,200 square feet. The villas range from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet and are more secluded, designed for privacy.
