A mix between pingpong, tennis, and badminton, Pickleball is a growing sport throughout the United States, and Brunswick Forest social clubs are taking lead with their newly constructed Pickleball courts. The courts resemble a small tennis court, but the game is played using a wiffle ball and compact paddle. Players wack the wiffle ball back and forth until the first player to 11 points at a 2 point lead wins! Our expert players and last year’s winners are returning for another round of heated competition against outside players and residents of Brunswick Forest social clubs. Although Pickleball takes its name from a sportive little dog named Pickles, it is most definitely making its way to be the highlight of this year’s games.
