It is a very friendly warm caring community. We're all extended family and people really care! I personally lost my son this past fall & people that I didn't even know rallied around me in support. Visiting, bringing food, checking in on me besides so many residents that I didn't know nor knew my son came to his funeral! The developer, his assistant, our HOA all extended their condolences via funeral, visiting me & sending a basket.

We have been looking for a nice place to move to from the North Eastern region of the United States. We go on vacation every year from Virginia down to Florida. We keep going back to North Carolina and South Carolina. When we started looking seriously for a place to retire, we narrow down our search to North Carolina. Once we drove through the gate of Compass Pointe, we knew that our search was over. We felt very comfortable and everyone is so nice and friendly from the developer to the builder to the current home owners.
