We are a community of very special people. If you are in need of anything the entire community comes together to help no matter what. We have 4 different golf clubs,3 bowling leagues, parties for everything and all are invited. We have been married for 40 yrs. and never lived by the calendar but since we have been here we need to check the calendar each day for any activities for that day. It's just a great place to live!

Compass Pointe os a friendly, beautiful community. Its proximity to the city of Wilmington provides residents with theatre, museums, river walk, fabulous restaurants all within a 10 minute drive. Compass Pointe is a lovely pleasant place to reside. Being a gated community, it gives residents the feeling that they are safe, secure and residing in a tropical resort. The amenities are top notch and you get a lot for your HOA dues! The developers are reliable and resourceful. Everything that has been promised is coming to fruition. Most importantly is that the people who reside in CP are kind, friendly and thoughtful people. The residents make kit a fun place to live. There is something for everyone to do. ANd yet, they are serious about giving back to society. So many of our residents volunteer in local schools, county offices, Manna Ministries, etc. We feel blessed to live here.

We came from NJ and checked out 5 other communities in this area and Compass Pointe took our breath away. This gated community has a Floridian flair and a resort style atmosphere with all the amenities (bells and whistles) anyone could wish for. Low taxes, warm weather and friendly people drew us into this beautifully maintained community which boasts prestine properties, with manicured lawns, lush gardens and walkways. Each neighborhood features homes with pride of ownership and makes Compass Pointe a very special place to live.

We have been looking for a nice place to move to from the North Eastern region of the United States. We go on vacation every year from Virginia down to Florida. We keep going back to North Carolina and South Carolina. When we started looking seriously for a place to retire, we narrow down our search to North Carolina. Once we drove through the gate of Compass Pointe, we knew that our search was over. We felt very comfortable and everyone is so nice and friendly from the developer to the builder to the current home owners. We can’t wait to call Compass Pointe home once we build our dream home there.
