The first of The Cliffs communities, The Cliffs at Glassy is perched high atop Glassy Mountain. People care about each other. They will help in any way they can. Our Club manager is special and also willing to do anything to help, whether it be to make a visit to the club happier, or send something home if one is ill. I came here with my husband, and I am now a widow. This is the best place to be in that situation. I have lived in 6 other places before this so I know about communities.

The developer took the prime view spot on the top of the mountain and built a simple, quaint chapel overlooking the valley below. The people in this community exhibit a love for the spectacular mountain environment in which we live, the local community and its children, and one another. As just one example, my wife recently had major emergency surgery and when I returned home, the community surrounded us with Christmas caroling at our door, foods that were on her doctor-approved list, comfort food for me and more offers of help than I can count. These neighbors have formed a close knit community which is pretty unique. All of the amenities of course are top notch, but what sets Glassy apart is the sheer natural beauty of the place, the close community of neighbors and the general manager of the club who treats the clubhouse and its members as if they are friends and family being welcomed into her home with traditional Southern hospitality. This place is not your usual upscale development. This is not your typical high-end community; it's upscale all right, but also a place that's easy to call home.
