The 18 hole championship golf course was designed by Bill Bergin, a collegiate golfer from Auburn University and it opened for play in 2000. The rolling hills, tall pine trees, accent lakes and the Blue Ridge Mountains off in the backdrop are beautiful natural amenities complimenting the golf course. Woodfin Ridge's 8,500 square foot golf clubhouse is home to Zane's Restaurant, snack bar, driving range and putting green. Adjacent to the clubhouse is the community's Junior Olympic size swimming pool, two hard surface tennis courts and children's playground. HOA fees and full golf privileges are less than $300 a month.

Approximately 250 homes have been built to date of the 400 homes planned at the Greenville SC real estate development. The majority of the lot sizes are half an acre.
