Harbor Club on Lake Oconee Featured on Golf America TV

Lakefront Golf Course Georgia

Did you know Harbor Club on Lake Oconee’s golf course was highlighted as the “Course of the Week” on the popular Golf America television show this summer?  If you haven’t heard of it yet, Golf America is a weekly syndicated TV show that has been on the air since 2004. Each week Golf America features some of the best resort and private golf courses located in North America and the Caribbean. It’s no surprise that our award-winning golf course was recently featured on their June 20-26, 2017 segment. It makes for some great TV, considering our course is one of best golf courses in the state of Georgia, not to mention our gorgeous terrain and beautiful Lake Oconee as a backdrop.

On the show, you’ll find executive producer and journalist, Alan Hunter; the popular golf fitness coach, Mindi Boysen; and renowned PGA professional, Doug Price. All three hosts provide interesting information and helpful tips while showing stunning footage of the Harbor Club course. Alan Hunter was delighted with his Harbor Club experience, saying “From your first tee shot on through your final putt, this golf course is both aesthetically pleasing and fun to play for players of all skill levels." He went on to say, "At Harbor Club, as you would find on many of Weiskopf-Morrish designs, no two golf holes are the same ...there is always an ample amount of several risk-reward holes.” It’s safe to say he truly enjoyed our lakefront golf course Georgia.

The show also highlights a great exercise routine demonstrated by the fitness guru Mindi Boysen. Her activities focus on improving both the shoulder and core muscles to improve your game. And if you ever find that your ball is just off the green, you’ll learn a great short game tip from PGA pro, Doug Price.
