A four-leaf clover is hard to find on St. Patrick’s Day, but luck is always close by in Wilmington, North Carolina. Residents living in the Wilmington NC neighborhoods have found happiness at the end of the rainbow and rewarding pot-of-gold-communities in the area.

On Saturday March 15, the 10th Annual Steve Haydu St. Patrick’s Lo-Tide Run is a great activity for people who look forward to a morning run near the beach. Participants can choose from a 5K or a 10K run/walk and then attend an after party at The Lazy Pirate around 11 a.m. The proceeds will be given to one or more cancer patients and their families, and participants can remember they dedicated their time and funds to a good cause before the official St. Patrick’s Day holiday!

While some people may enjoy to run the coast of the Carolinas, there are other festivals in Wilmington North Carolina that may pique others interests that Saturday. The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is on March 15, 2014, and people from around the area come to celebrate the fun. Visitors and owners of Landfall real estate can tap their feet to the holiday music, enjoy irish dancing and watch the performers for this St. Patrick’s Day at the Riverfront Park beginning at noon. The Irish culture is fully embraced in this waterfront community and the fun does not stop there!

On Sunday, March 16, 2014, The Luck of the Irish Full Moon Cruise sails around the Historic River Walk from 6-8 p.m. Admission is only $38.00 per passenger and everyone can enjoy the live acoustic music, full bar and gorgeous moonlight views before the official holiday. Cruising and celebrating St. Patty’s Day was never so much fun until it started in the Wilmington NC neighborhoods. Other events included in the festivals in Wilmington North Carolina include the Celtic Tenors performance on March 14th at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $18.00- $35.00 at Thalian Hall and the classic tones are sure to get everyone in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day!

A lunch cruise on Monday is a great way for the residents of Landfall and other Wilmington neighborhoods to kick off the official holiday. The St. Patrick’s Day Lunch Cruise is a fun-filled activity for the residents to enjoy the famous Corn Beef & Cabbage Lunch and Bagpipe music before they about the Riverfront Cruise from 1-3 p.m. Tickets are $38.00 per person and it is sure to be an amazing time on St. Patrick’s Day.
