Lake Burton Club was originally called the Waterfall Country Club. Now it has changed its name back to Waterfall Club again.
Waterfall Country Club LLC had filed bankruptcy in 2010, distressed by a lawsuit filed in 2006 by the Lake Burton Civic Association for polluting the lake with construction debris. The Waterfall Club is under new ownership.
Reynolds Club Community took over Lake Burton Club in late 2010. Reynolds Development and Management Group no longer owns the community. The amenities are owned by an investment group and the club is managed by Affiniti Group.
