There's an Arts and Cultural explosion happening in one of the best Florida retirement cities, Naples, and the generation that redefined retirement and aging well, the Baby Boomers, are on the forefront of this movement in Southwest Florida.  This time, they are infusing their expertise, savviness and wealth to help promote some of Naples’ most celebrated and aspiring painters, dancers, musicians, singers and various other visual artists.  That is right, they are at it again.  This generation has turned retirement into “Act Two”, and the second act is turning out to be just as intriguing as the first.  

From renowned composer, conductor and pianist Leonard Bernstein to Expressionism artist Jackson Pollock, some of America’s most esteemed artists and performers undoubtedly benefited from the support and encouragement from those who love and appreciate the arts.  That tradition is very much still in existence today, and it’s coming from the influential residents of Naples beach real estate communities, and the benefactors–Naples Philharmonic; The Baker Museum (formerly Naples Museum of Art); The Von Liebig Art Center; Naples Performing Arts Center; and Naples Philharmonic Orchestra–are appreciative of those continuous contributions to their creative endeavors.
