This is an extremely friendly community. Members here welcome new comers enthusiastically and always offer to help them get acclimated and encourage all to join activities. This also a an extremely generous community that has donated over a half a million dollars to charities where members personally volunteer. Walnut Cove is perfectly located between the two exciting towns of Asheville and Hendersonville, so there is even a lot to do "outside" this gated community, too. As a retired couple who has lived in a great many places,we have grown to appreciate different locations and life styles, and life in Walnut Cove tops the list!

Even though we have still not relocated to Walnut Cove, we do still own property and are members of the Club. Everything that's being done in Walnut Cove is top notch and the people that work and live there are very interested in their workplace and community...it isn't a bad thing that Asheville is a short commute and is one of the fastest growing communities to be considered in the top 10 places to live in the US. All the Cliff's communities are close by and so the reciprocal package of activities and dining is another plus. We always look forward to our time in the mountains and Walnut Cove.
