Life takes on a whole new meaning at this Florida boating community in Sarasota in one of the best Florida retirement cities. Its superb location is ideal for boaters and for those who desire to live near rich cultural venues. The master planned community borders and connects to the Manatee River and provides quick access to the Gulf of Mexico in about 20 minutes. The waterfront Florida Gulf Coast properties for sale have a deepwater dock for boats up to 70 feet. Twenty canals weave through the neighborhood and have no fixed bridges. Medallion Homes Florida is one the predominate new home builders in Bradenton FL at The Inlets.

Homes on the Manatee River have spacious panoromic views and are the perfect place to end the day to watch the colorful sunsets the west coast is known for. The Inlets river and canals are busy with schools of fish and birdlife sharing in nature's beauty. The community's kayak launch makes it easy for residents to leisurely explore the waterways and protected canals. There are three distinct neighborhoods that make up The Inlets. Bella Sole is a neighborhood of maintenance free homes starting in the mid $400k's. Harbour Walk is a neighborhood of custom homes starting in the $400k's. The Reserve is the luxury custom home neighborhood where homes begin in the $600k's and easily exceed $1 million. Approximately 800 homes are planned with a good selection of Florida Gulf Coast properties for sale. We estimate about 500 homes have been built to date. Medallion Homes Florida, Neal Communities and Camlin Homes build in this unique Florida boating community. The three home builders have worked hard to develop the Sarasota waterfront real estate, to preserve the integrity of the landscape and not interfere with natural habitats, estuaries, and native species.

While The Inlets provides privacy and exuberates a relaxing atmosphere, its conveniently close to the historical districts of Bradenton, Sarasota, and Tampa/St. Petersburg. No matter what you desire for entertainment in one of the best Florida retirement cities, it is likely nearby. Not only is there brand label shopping, landmarks, museums, and a variety of dining options, but The Inlets is in close proximity to theaters, art galleries, day spas, and an endless variety of sporting activities and events in Sarasota. Frances Wakeland, Louise R Johnson Middle School, Southeast High School and Bradenton Charter School are the nearest best schools to The Inlets.

The Inlets Reviews

3 / 5 (7 reviews)
"We are happy here due to location. Very convenient to the beaches and Bay Area activities we enjoy. The HOA tariffs are high for what you get in return. The gas lighting is a silly throw back in time and gets blown out during a storm. Also, this gas lighting is expensive to maintain and use. Carlos Beruff, the developer is non compliant with his responsibilities. I like living here again for the overall convenience and basically will not move at present but would not do it if I had it to do over again."

"Developer Carlos B. does not listen to any comments. He leaves the security gate open during the day which I don't like. He is an idiot. If I had the choice to move here, I would NOT!!"

"No community clubhouse to use. Homes start at the mid $500k's. Gate open all day due to sales & construction. HOA controlled by the builders until completely done. Residents have no say. Builders do what they want!"
