Membership to the club is mandatory. WindRiver is developed along 5 miles of shoreline 350 single family homes are planned of which more than 200 are lakefront homes.  Approximately 40 homes are built to date. Home sites range in size from half an acres to 2+ acres and are priced from the lower $100k’s to the upper $600k’s.  All homes are custom designed and built by the some of the most reputable home builders in Eastern Tennessee. Homes feature Tudor and French Country architecture, brick and/or stone exteriors. Homes range in size from 3,000 to 6,100 square feet and are priced from the upper $600k’s to just under $3 million.

In addition, The Highlands, a new neighborhood within the WindRiver gated community, offers maintenance free, “main-level” living residences.  The 32 single family homes spotlight classic English Country architecture. WindRiver has three open floorplans specifically designed for the Highlands from 1,900 to 3,200 square feet and priced from $350k to $600k, an attractive price point for those considering relocating to Tennessee.

Windriver is an incredible community to live in. I bought a piece of ground there in 2017 and began building our home in 2018. Over the past year the development has grown exponentially! You wont find a more beautiful area in East Tennessee to experience all 4 seasons that we are lucky to have in TN. The golf course is immaculate, the marina is top of the line, and our pool and wellness area is first class too. The house is set to be done hear in a few weeks and cant wait to live in our dream house in our dream community/neighborhood!

Gorgeous property, great amenities, friendliest neighbors and fantastic management! Golf course is short of meticulously maintained, challenging, but playing the correct tee box makes it a wonderful experience. WIthin our community is Citico's restaurant, the food is exceptional and staff very professional and Chef Robert and Sommelier Blake know their stuff. Tellico lake is beautiful and our marina is very accommodating. Finally, the people presently in the community are friendly and their are social gatherings weekly and normally several days a week.
