This community provides a wide range of lifestyle activities: golf, boating, equistrian trails and boarding. It has a great view of the Smokies Mountains and a top-rated 18 hole golf course with a beautiful club house. The French country-style architecture makes it a great neighbor. It has been different types of housing to suite any personal tastes. It is in the heart of eastern Tennessee. Close to many attractions and an easy one day drive to many parts of the country. I just love Rarity Bay and want others to know it is there to enjoy it as much as I do.

The people who live in Rarity Bay are the friendliest and most helpful group of people I have ever met! We have lived in several states in the past and have never been welcomed and included in the community like we have been here. Neighbors are always ready to give support or lend a hand if needed. My husband I moved here from a 55+ community in Northern Virginia. After living in multiple states over the course of a lifetime, I find the scenery here to be breathtaking. But what is indescribable are the sounds, or lack thereof. If you are looking for beauty and serenity, Rarity Bay should be a place to seriously consider. I am not yet a full time resident who can participate in the myriad activities available here, so I cannot comment on some issues. What is apparent is the beauty and diversity of this well planned development. The grandeur of the Smoky Mountains are omnipresent whether you are entering or leaving the community. There are many times of many days when the only sounds piercing the quiet comes from the ping of a golf swing or birds chattering in the trees. The community is well run and the residents are friendly, helpful and engaging. As I enter the community, the attendants at the gatehouse often greet me with a "welcome home". As I drive toward my house and look around, I feel that I am home. There is a WOW factor here that has to be experienced. If you come here and don't find happiness, I am afraid you cannot be happy.
