Set on the Intracoastal Waterway, Grand Haven in Palm Coast is an attractive Florida golf community and is in close proximity to the beach. Flagler Beach is reminiscent of South Florida forty years ago and maintains a small town feel without a lot of traffic. The region is considered one of the top Florida retirement cities because of the affordable new homes Palm Coast FL close to Flagler Beach. The area is famous for its wide, hard sandy beaches and surfing.  There are only a few high-rise condominiums lining the beaches of Palm Coast Florida. Instead, there are swaying sea oats and weathered wooden stairways luring folks down to the shoreline.

We've been able to experience a myriad of amenities available at the Village Center. There's a fitness center, regulation-sized tennis courts, heated Olympic swimming pool, spa, children's playing area and more. While there, we found it convenient and enjoyable to eat at The Waterside Cafe at the Village Center. The community’s second clubhouse is actually the Creekside Athletic Center where we observed a resort-styled swimming pool and championship croquet lawns.  If you enjoy boating, there is a boat ramp next door providing access to the Intracoastal Waterway. All of this lies a mere seven miles from Flagler Beach.

Grand Haven was acquired by LandMar Group in the early 2000's, a division of Crescent Resources, a real estate development entity which filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in 2009. In December 2010, Jim Cullis purchased the remaining development assets and now operates Grand Haven Properties LLC.

Escalante Golf based out of Fort Worth Texas acquired the golf club in December 2011. The Club at Grand Haven is Escalante Golf’s sixth Florida golf course and 14th golf portfolio holding. Community amenities, aside from the golf course/club, are controlled by property owners and are debt free.
