Bordering the west side of the Indian River Lagoon and on the mainland, the Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club’s name provides a quick glimpse into the fun-filled lifestyle offered in one of the best Florida beach towns. Complete with its own private beach club on the ocean, the Vero Beach country club amenities are extensive and include two championship golf courses, a tennis center with 10 Har-Tru courts, a grandiose 32,000 square foot golf clubhouse, deepwater marina with 144 boat slips, and staffed modern fitness center. Both of the clubhouses have delicious restaurants. The beach club on the barrier island offers relaxing indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Private poolside cabanas peek over an Olympic-sized swimming pool and the ocean, just south of the Sebastian Inlet and Vero Beach beaches. The golf clubhouse on the mainland offers casual and formal dining.

Scenic lakes accent the golf course with streaming fountains spraying up into the air; many neighborhoods also have fountains in the middle of their neighborhood cul-de-sacs. The River Course designed by Joe Lee is a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Course. The second course, named The Harbor Course, was designed by Pete Dye. Grand Harbor offers equity memberships; however, residents are not required to become club members. During the summer months, the club has reciprocal arrangements with 16 local Indian River golf courses. Equity memberships range from $3,274 to $10,731 per year plus the initial equity contribution which is partially refundable. Social club memberships permit full use of the beach club with limited golf and tennis privileges 6 times a year.

Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club Reviews

4.6 / 5 (94 reviews)
"It's beautiful and a great place, but I have never lived in a louder community - there is constant noise from either landscapers and gas-powered maintenance equipment, the flight path to the airport, or the trains. It would be so much more peaceful without the constant gas-powered noise. I feel like most would not be aware of these problems when touring the community. "

"Because of the Comfort the Grand Harbor "Answer to Cancer" team has provided. A diagnosis of cancer is devastating. Having a world class Cancer Center here in Vero Beach is a wonderful community asset and a comfort to every member in it. Enter Answer To Cancer - founded in 2006 by two cancer survivors and a small committee. From the beginning this unique charity focused on the human side of patient cures and care. In its 10 years $430,000 has been raised, and because the committee funds any expense, every penny has gone directly to our Cancer Center. Support for this cause has become so strong that three of our largest fund raising events occurred when the golf portion was rained out. The Grand Harbor community has been an important part of the remarkable growth of cancer care here. Teamed with famed Duke Medicine and operating in a new $48 MM facility, we have helped fund everything from improved patient's environment to the latest True Beam radiation equipment. In a community with many world class amenities and a fabulous natural environment, knowing that excellent medical care is 5 minutes away gives our members peace of mind to enjoy our good fortune to be here. Being part of a community recognized for a membership that generously supports several major charities adds to our pride and enjoyment. Carole Plante Don Casey Co-Chair Co-Chair"
