Bordering the Intracoastal Waterway, TidalWalk is a 106 acre seaside neighborhood in Wilmington North Carolina overlooking the Masonboro Island Estuarine Reserve, the largest undeveloped barrier island in the area. Thanks to mild year round weather, beautiful surfing beaches, excellent boating, and rich cultural venues in the city, Wilmington is repeatedly named one of the top places to live in North Carolina. The Nantucket-style waterfront neighborhood named TidalWalk is located 2 miles north of the Carolina Beach Inlet by boat and 5 miles from Carolina Beach by car.

TidalWalk's community boat dock and gazebo on the Intracoastal Waterway are the social hub of the neighborhood. Its sandy beach provides a sweet spot to fish, launch a kayak or boat watch. Kids can catch crabs, dig for clams and splash in the sun all day. Red Drum, Flounder and Spanish Mackerel are popular fish to catch in coastal North Carolina.

Property owners with large boats can quickly access Carolina Marina and Yacht Club's full service marina located 2 miles to the south. There are only a handful of North Carolina coastal communities with quick access to the barrier isalnds by land and by sea.

"Wonderful neighbors and beautiful surroundings. Much to do socially for both adults and children, but relaxed enough to "get away from it all". Eclectic neighborhood of retirees and families with children make it a pleasure to live here."

"No, bad investment. Developer & sales agent told us all lies. Be careful. Major water issues, horrible regarding repairs. This community is going to be a money pit. Research the crime..do not waste your time or money. "

"NO, Developer does not care & does not keep up with repairs. Always has excuses. Terrible investment. The management company is the worse , bunch of lies. Horton builders sales agent will tell you anything to make a sale. Horrible experience. Stay away. Talk to neighbors before purchasing. 2 years still waiting for repairs. Theydo not keep the dock, pool, clubhouse, roads, entrance gate, streets, beach area, the rest of the amenies clean or in working order. All they say is that they will check into it. There are much nicer communities in Wilmington. Please do your research, I wish I did mine. Do not believe anything the sales staff say. Good luck on your house search."
