I moved from the Philadelphia area four years ago. I did not know a single person. The Porters Neck community was very welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful, there are many activities to participate in and the people are very friendly and warm. Our community is close to and has water rights to the Intracoastal Waterway. I love living in Porters Neck Plantation.

Everyone is a transplant and eager to make new friends. Many opportunities to meet new people. Wilmington affords a wide variety of cultural events and is close to larger cities. Beaches are wonderful in this area. Many excellent restaurants catering to a wide variety of palates. PNCC is right on the ICC which makes it convenient for water enthusiast. Housing is very reasonable.

We have lived in Porters Neck for the last 10 years and have found it the perfect place to live. Besides the mild SE North Carolina weather, the community is well planned with well cared for homes, a great private country club with outstanding amenities and friendly neighbors. Of course it is close to Wilmington and is located off the main roads in a growing section of New Hanover county. Everything you need is only a mile or two away. We love it.
