Picture postcard perfect. Large enough that there is a good cross range of people from all over the country, but small enough that you can get to know your neighbors and have a real feeling of community.

Just drive in the gates and an immediate feeling of calmness occurs. The residents are friendly, the club offers a "home" for all from 3-93. Activities for the very active (tennis and golf) to those who prefer card games. Swim team, lego club, camps are all part of the offerings for both children of residents and grandchildren. The community and the facilities are all well-maintained, residents take pride in their homes and it shows. The boat ramp allows you to put in your kayak or smaller boats. After 10 yrs we still love it here.

Direct proximity to some of the most beautiful, preserved beaches and barrier islands in the country. We bought our lot in 1992, built on it in 2006 for retirement -- and have found the developers / leadership a constant . . . and always looking for ways to improve. For example, new Sports Center a couple of years ago.

It is a beautiful development, fairly elegant and luxurious without being pretentious. It is gated and therefore, one has a sense of security. The friendliness of the residents and the wonderful way that they make newcomers welcome are simply amazing.
