These islands feature the neighborhood swimming pool, sunset tower, river retreat pavilion, and deep-water dock, all connected by nature trails. Take a walk on the footbridges to explore the natural environment and waterfront park spaces throughout the 300-acre development. Come experience the allure of lowcountry living in Habersham.

Developer Bob Turner first arrived in the area in the 1990s as the construction manager for Spring and Callawassie Islands. In 1992, Bob became a managing partner with the Newpoint Company and oversaw the development of a 130-lot neighborhood on Lady’s Island. Bob then turned his attention to incorporating the Habersham Land Company, Inc. (HLC) in early 1996 and began work with his business partner, Stephen Davis, on the traditional neighborhood of Habersham. Joining the team in 2008, Patrick Kelly came on board with a background in town design and urban planning to help continue implementing the original master plan design. Patrick formally was a project manager at Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co. (DPZ), one of the nation's leading new urbanism design firms and the firm that designed Habersham.
