Located upstream from Goose Creek State Park and off the Pamlico Sound is a charming boating and golf neighborhood named Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay. Developed in the early 1990's, one of the friendliest coastal retirement communities is just 8 miles from America's first city named after America's first president, Washington.

One of the few North Carolina coastal communities with a deepwater marina comprises of 750 acres and approximately 600 homes have been built to date of the 720 planned. Lowcountry style homes and traditional American brick are the architectural styles. Winding roads lead to welcoming cul-de-sacs. Tall trees and lakes accented with fountains add to the neighborhood's curb appeal. The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Yacht Clubhouse is impressive along with its deepwater marina on the Pamlico River.

The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Yacht Clubhouse offers soothing views overlooking the water, upstream from the Pamlico Sound. The 221 boat slips can accommodate boats up to 42 feet. Boat slips can be purchased through a 99 year lease. Amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center and bar. Cypress Landing Golf Club is the community's 18 hole championship golf course designed by William R. Love. The golf course is semi-private and property owners are not required to join the club. Additional amenities include four lighted tennis courts across from the golf clubhouse. HOA fees are $1,224 annually and include membership to the pools, Bay Club, Tennis and Health and Fitness Center which is a great value to the community. Residents participate in more than 22 social clubs which include Master Gardeners, Supper Clubs, Singles Groups and the Red Hat Society.

You can not find a more friendly place to live where so many people pitch in to help others when in need. Close to East Carolina University and it's sports and culture, Bath, home base of Blackbeard, Goose Creek State Park, historic "Little" Washington, the original with all of it's waterfront activities, festivals and events. Our communities amenities can NOT be beat value wise. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!

The people in our community make this the happiest community to live because everyone makes you feel like family. The numerous activities give you plenty of opportunities to meet interesting people. You can be as active and involved as you wish or you can just sit back and watch from numerous sitting areas throughout the community. Neighbors will often invite us for dinner or an impromptu cookout. If you need a pet or house sitter there's always a reliable person available. This community works best because of the people who volunteer their time and talents.
