The Cliffs Residents Raise Over $62,000 for Upstate Warrior Solutions
The final numbers are in after residents of The Cliffs hosted a Memorial Day Golf Tournament to benefit Upstate Warrior Solution raising over $62,000 for the Upstate organization.
Michael Wallach, a resident of The Cliffs Valley and tournament committee member stated, “Thanks to the amazing pouring in of support from The Cliffs, its members, Corporate Sponsors and the local community, we are proud to honor our Military Veterans from the five surrounding counties through our support of Upstate Warrior Solution. This amazing reflection of generosity will go directly to the efforts positively impacting the lives of our warriors, veterans and heroes in the Upstate.”
The monies raised will be used to further enhance the various programs at Upstate Warrior Solution that have already assisted 2,240 warriors in the three short years UWS has been serving; 486 warriors were enrolled in school; 221 warriors were employed; 138 warriors found housing; and 3,360 warrior family members have been assisted through the program. The mission of UWS is to connect warriors to community solutions, lead them to self empowerment, and inspire the community to embrace warriors and their families as valued neighbors and friends. Cliffs residents already have plans underway for the 2017 Memorial Day Event.

Upstate Warrior Solution is a community based not-for-profit organization that generates quality of life solutions for Upstate Veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve Warriors and their families.
