MORE NEWS FROM THE CLIFFS

On the heels of healthy growth stemming from a strong 2014, The Cliffs announced today it has purchased the Spinks Building in the Mountain Park Village. Beginning in June, the 12,500 square foot facility will become home to The Cliffs’ Mountain Region Sales Team and a Welcome Center for prospective buyers. Planning is underway to add meeting areas, private events spaces, a demonstration kitchen for member cooking classes and wellness center for members, all of which will be available in 2016.

Set in the area known as the Mountain Park Village on Highway 11 near the intersection of Highway 25 in Travelers Rest, S.C., The Cliffs Welcome Center was formerly the headquarters of the Gary Player Group. Upon the Player Group’s decision to relocate to downtown Greenville, The Cliffs acquired the property from its owner Stewart Spinks and, in turn, leased The Cliffs’ office located at 22 South Main Street in downtown Greenville, S.C., to the Player Group, to serve as a transitional space during its company’s search for a new, permanent corporate home.

“It’s an exciting time for our company and our communities,” stated Robert Wright, Managing Partner of The Cliffs Real Estate. “This move will allow our sales team to create a better experience for prospective buyers as they arrive on property, as well as a wonderful opportunity for us to integrate amenities planned for The Cliffs at Mountain Park.”

From January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2015, The Cliffs’ real estate sales team more than doubled the volume of property tours when compared with the same period in 2014; grew the number of recorded sales leads by nearly 150 percent; and achieved a 13 percent higher average sales prices for closed transactions executed through Cliffs Real Estate.
