The Reserve at Lake Keowee
Published on April 6, 2017

One of the best golf communities in South Carolina welcomed the Clemson SC University Women's Golf Invitational at The Reserve last weekend. Clemson's women's golf team competed against seventeen teams from across the US, for a tournament on The Reserve's Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.

Hosting the invitational for the second year in a row, The Reserve at Lake Keowee was thrilled to have such a high-profile event in the community. Spanning the shores of scenic Lake Keowee, and surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, it certainly makes a beautiful setting for a Spring time golf event.

Residents of The Reserve have provided more than 40 host homes and 65 volunteers for the tournament, and spectators attended for free. The seventeen competing collegiate teams, seven of which are ranked in the NCAA’s top 25, were:

  • Clemson SC University
  • Columbia University
  • University of Florida (8)
  • Florida State University (3)
  • Furman University (7)
