Brunswick Forest Wraps up a Successful Year with New Amenities and Added Value

Best Places To Live In North Carolina

Brunswick Forest is ending another successful year, having welcomed more than 1,300 families to this award-winning, master-planned development since the community opened in 2007. In 2014, Brunswick Forest saw more than 300 families move in to community, the addition of two new builder groups to its team, new amenities for its residents and new development throughout the community. “There is a quote by Albert Einstein that we like to reference here,” says Brunswick Forest Director of Sales, Jerry Helms. “’Strive not to be a success, but rather, to be of value.’ At Brunswick Forest, we are always striving to provide our homeowners with the highest value in terms of amenities, homes and lifestyle.”

As new residents move in to the community, Brunswick Forest continues to add value to the development by expanding its amenities making it one of the best places to live in North Carolina. The new Hammock Pool opened this past June and has quickly become a favorite hangout spot for residents. The large outdoor oasis features brightly-colored chaise lounges and umbrellas, a kids’ splash pad, lockers, showers and bocce ball courts. This Tommy Bahama-styled saltwater pool joins Brunswick Forest’s two other pools which are both located at the community’s 18,000 square foot Fitness and Wellness Center.

Construction is already well underway for five new pickleball courts which are located by the clubhouse at Cape Fear National. Pickleball—a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis—is a popular sport in Brunswick Forest and in the surrounding areas. The community’s very active Pickleball Club has more than 300 members who not only play the game, but also organize tournaments and arrange for lessons and clinics for newer members.

Brunswick Forest also continues to grow their development presence in order to satisfy the needs of their customers. The developers have plans to debut a new, Charleston-influenced townhome village in the coming year. “Tennyson Village represents another example of Brunswick Forest listening to the needs of its customers,” says Helms. “Townhomes continue to be desirable for our homeowners, and demand for town homes far exceeds our inventory. These new homes will represent another low-maintenance option for homeowners.” Each home in Tennyson Village will have its own private solid stone wall courtyard with water features and fountains built in to the walls. There will be space for outdoor gas fire pits, and each unit will have vaulted ceilings and windows in the roofline break to keep the homes’ interiors light and bright.

Land clearing is already underway for the new Cypress Pointe neighborhood which will showcase custom homes with classic Southern architecture. “These will be grand, traditional southern-style homes with deep front porches and wide columns,” says Helms. “The homes will be surrounded by classic Southern landscaping and trees draped with Spanish moss.” Cypress Pointe will join Cape Fear National and Walden offering clients a great option for custom home building at one of the best places to live in North Carolina.

The community has plans for the third phase of its immensely popular neighborhood, Park Landing. These coastal cottages are sought-after by homeowners who want low-maintenance living, but who do not want to sacrifice on home quality and design. “Park Landing is one of our biggest successes,” says Helms. “These homes are perfectly positioned in the heart of the community, and offer residents tremendous value in terms of quality, open home plans.” Take a peek at Brunswick Forest homes

Brunswick Forest’s commercial town center, The Villages at Brunswick Forest, will kick-off next year with the much-anticipated opening of the Bessie Burger restaurant.  “Bessie Burger is another great addition to our commercial town center,” say Helms. “It gives our residents another dining option and adds value to the community by adding to our convenient lifestyle that puts our residents close to not just dining, but retail shopping, a large chain grocery store and top-notch medical services.”

Also in The Villages, local telecommunications company, ATMC, has plans to open a new retail store in 2015 to serve local customers and to provide assistance to Brunswick Forest residents for any of their phone, internet and cable television needs. The retail location’s opening coincides with the introduction of fiber-optic broadband service to homes within the community, which gives Brunswick Forest residents the fastest internet service available in the entire country.

“Overall, it has been a great year for Brunswick Forest,” says Helms. “Every year, we are more successful than the last, and we continue to surpass our own expectations, year after year. I have to think that a major reason why we have been so successful is due to the fact that we have kept the value for our homeowners as our number one priority, and we plan on continuing to do that in the future.”
