The Great Waters Course, one of six championship Lake Oconee golf courses at Reynolds, is the place to be on Sunday, October 26, and Monday, October 27, as the first Bucky Dent Invitational Golf Tournament takes center stage. This Legends on the Links charity golf event benefiting St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital promises to be one of the best tournaments of the year at the Reynolds Plantation master-planned community in Greensboro Georgia. The Highlights of this pro-sports-celebrity-studded event include:

  • Sunday evening cocktail party, 7-10 PM at the Sandy Creek Barn (a limited number of tickets are available to non-golfers) featuring a DJ, food, fun, and cash bar
  • Silent auction, 50/50 raffle and live auction with fabulous items for bid and prizes
  • Meet the tournament 2014 honoree, one of baseball greatest hitters and Hall of Famer, Wade Boggs!
  • Celebrity players include tournament host Bucky Dent, Rick Cerone, Chris Chambliss, Cecil Fielder, Andres Galarraga, and Lou Piniella.
  • Tournament Registration and Lunch on Monday from 10:30 AM to Noon
  • Tee-off for the 4-Person Scramble at 12:30 sharp
  • Food and beverages available on course overlooking one of the best Georgia lakes
  • Course events include a putting contest, a hole-in one car, closest-to-the-pin prizes and more.
  • Monday evening buffet Awards Banquet immediately following golf at the Great Waters Clubhouse, where the celebrities and Honoree will be introduced, and tournament winners announced
  • Entry fees are $395/player, or $1,580/4-some
