Currahee Club - Labor Day Family Fun

Just as Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of the summer, Labor Day signals the end of the dog days of summer. And there’s no better way for North Georgia retirement communities to say so long to the summer than with a classic outdoor cookout in a place with beautiful views overlooking a Hartwell golf course and surrounded by friendly people.

This Saturday, September 3rd, Currahee Club is one of those gated communities exuding southern hospitality. Here residents will gather at the Sports Campus for a Labor Day Cookout and more. Food, fun and face painting are just some of the events on tap for the day. From 2pm– 4pm, children can enjoy one of the many planned activities including balloon art. Later in the evening, attendees can take in the sounds of a live performance by singer/songwriter Jared Brooks. The community is private but if you're in the area, call them. They may have space.
