The 3rd Annual Currahee Farmers and Artisans Market is scheduled for June 20, 2015. The Market starts at 10 am and is open until 4pm. This event has proven to be so popular it has doubled in size since its inception. Held in one of the best golf communities in North Georgia, the Currahee Club, located in Toccoa, Georgia. The Farmers and Artisans Market features, well, Farmers and Artisans. The Farmers hail from the local Stephens County Farmers Market and the Artisans begin with Currahee's own Artisan Guild, then an additional 30 vendors complete the roster for the Market.

Arts and Crafts available for purchase include Soap, Birdhouses, Hiking Canes, Pottery and all sorts of Artwork made in North Georgia. Books are available for sale. Fresh produce will be provided by the vendors from the Stephens County Farmers Market. In addition to the produce, Jams, Jellies, Honey and Pickles will be for sale. Local Winery, Currahee Vineyards will have a selection of wines made at the Winery located at the foot of Currahee Mountain. Wines are made primarily with the native grape, the Muscadine. Some of the wine features additional local produce, such as blueberries.

The Village Green in the Currahee Club Amenity Center is the site for this year's market. Additional amenities at the Currahee Club include a championship mountain golf course, 48,000 square foot mountain lodge-style clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, two tennis courts, fitness center, ball courts, fire pits, and a community garden. Small restaurants, boutiques and wineries populate the historic downtown areas of Clayton, Clarkesville, Cornelia and Dahlonega. A waterfall tour through the winding roads of nearby Highlands, North Carolina is another fun day trip. Locals nicknamed the area 'where spring stays for summer'.

The Currahee Club is the recipient of Community Finder’s 2015 Bliss Award winner for Best Georgia Community of the Year. Part of the reason for the award is the high marks the community received in property owners. The average score by the owners is an impressive 93/100. That's a big "A" that only small percentage of communities on our website have achieved. Currahee Club also has some of the finest amenities you'll find in northern Georgia:
