" Beauty, nature, proximity, privacy, many many volunteers contributing to the community. Nothing pretentious. Comfortable, casual. All the amenities we could want: golf, lakes, hiking, social clubs, grill, fine dining, wifi, cell phone reception, security, well maintained"

"I moved to Connestee Falls because it was simple and dues/fees were affordable. During the last 10 years, wealthy northern group moved in and worked their way on to the board. Started to change everything like they had in their home town. Those that built in the 1990's came to Connestee because of it being a wonderful, affordable community. That has changed. I would "NOT" recommend anyone from the south consider the community. "

"The appeal to a lot of Baby Boomers (at least older ones) to me seems to be "adult summer camp" and that is the way my husband and I looked at it when we bought here in 2005. We are 64 & 72. The people who want something like a "country club" may need to wait for us to die off. We are now spending way too much money trying to persuade people who won't be persuaded. "
