Developed by N. Barton Tuck, the Bright's Creek equestrian community began in 2003. Tuck developed Forest Creek Golf Club in Pinehurst North Carolina. Bright's Creek has been in a holding pattern of development as many others during the real estate recesssion. Then in the summer of 2011, Alexander Salgado and Gabrielle Barragan of Protex Investment Group Inc purchased Bright's Creek, a gated North Carolina mountain community.
