This attractive, 30-year-old gated Vero Beach neighborhood borders either the white sandy private beaches along the Atlantic Ocean or the Indian River Lagoon. Located in one of the top Florida retirement cities, Seagrove is comprised of two neighborhoods:  Seagrove Oceanside, with its own private beach access, on the east side of AIA with 175 homes, and Seagrove West on the west side of AIA, a deepwater neighborhood bordering the Indian River Lagoon with 71 homes. Seagrove West amenities include two community boat docks on the Indian River Lagoon and tennis courts. Both Seagrove neighborhoods have beautiful, mature oak trees which canopy the streets adding to the curb appeal of the Vero Beach luxury homes. Although the communities were built together, they are managed separately and don't share amenities.

SEAGROVE AMENITIES

  • Gated Entrance
  • Private Beach Access for Seagrove Oceanside
  • Two Community Boat Docks at Seagrove West
  • Tennis Courts at Seagrove West

Seagrove is located on a barrier island, just 4 miles south of the 17th Street Causeway bridge and 7 miles from the heart of Vero Beach. Boaters will find the Fort Pierce Inlet to be the closest, approximately 10 miles to the south.  Where the Intracoastal Waterway passes through the Indian River Lagoon is one the prettiest bodies of water that we’ve seen in eastern Florida, and it borders Seagrove. We noticed birds and marine wildlife are abundant while boating in the protected Indian River Lagoon.

Built in the late 1980's, the larger Vero Beach luxury homes found here are very attractive. Homes start under $400k on spacious lots in both Seagrove neighborhoods. Seagrove oceanfront homes on the Vero Beach beaches begin at over $2 million. At Seagrove West, deepwater riverfront homes with deepwater dockage begin in the mid $1 million range. Architectural styles range from one-story, ranch-styled executive homes with cedar roofs to Mediterranean Revival and West Indies styles.

Whether you're a boater or beachcomber, Seagrove offers both lifestyle options. Seagrove’s gated neighborhoods have inviting streets where we’ve seen folks riding bicycles, walking, or throwing a ball around with the kids. Beachland Elementary School, Rosewood Magnet School, Osceola Magnet School, Vero Beach High School and Saint Edward's School are the closest best schools to Seagrove.
