There’s nothing like the good life living along the water’s edge. Watching the sunrise and sunsets with powder white mist tickling the surface are unforgettable. The peacefulness of it can linger for hours until the thrill of jet skiing or catching a 10 pound largemouth bass takes over. At Del Webb Lake Oconee, this is a glimpse into life in one of the most friendly active retirement communities. Lake Oconee is Georgia’s second largest lake with 400 miles of shoreline.

With more time on their hands, many of today’s retirees are focusing their lives around fitness and wellness. Del Webb at Lake Oconee is one of those perfect places to enjoy less strenuous sports such as swimming, water volleyball, Yoga or Tai Chi.
